Table Top Gaming Club
About Us
Wellingborough Tabletop Games Club was created to provide a space to play games, hobby and meet like-minded people. It was key that the space be accessible, can hold multiple full-sized games tables, be within Wellingborough, have good facilities, avoid other local club nights, and could allow us to meet regularly. Which leads us to Friday evenings at the Kingsway Centre where we launched our club in May 2025!
At the core of the club, I want to make sure everyone is welcomed, and the atmosphere is positive for gamers and hobbyists of all levels. Everyone is there to have fun and to escape into the various worlds of goblins, orks, aliens and super soldiers.

Games Played
A variety of games are played on Club night with something new always hitting the tabletop. Some of the popular games are Warhammer 40k, Horus Heresy, One page rules, Dungeons and Dragons, Halo, Magic the gathering, God Tear and so many more.
Being able to offer players introductions to new games was always a priority and thanks to local council support, member donations and some willing members, the club can now offer intro games to a variety of games with several club owned starter sets, and we aim to add more.
We also have a growing games library which are ideal filler games that are quick to pick up and play.

Hobby Corner
Every club night there is dedicated space set aside at the club for anyone that fancies either building or painting their miniatures. If you don’t have a game or have some unfinished projects that you’d like to work on it’s a great way to get some progress done while also getting to chat to other hobbyists, share ideas and learn new techniques. The set up has some basic hobby tools, lights, mats and a small selection of paints.
Hobby Corner is a developing addition at the club and hopes in it fostering a vibrant and supportive community, encouraging the exchange of ideas and techniques among our diverse group of hobbyists.
Terrain and Battlemats
Epic battles, tight precision skirmishes or gripping adventures are all enhanced with thematic terrain and battle mats.
The club has a growing collection of Sci fi & Fantasy terrain sets and battle mats available on Club Night. If you are looking for something particular for a game setting do let us know and we can see what we can do.
Intro Games
One of the first barriers for people wanting to play games is not having the models to play with, Access to the rules, or having someone to teach the basics. Several of the club members are keen to introduce new players to games and will happily bring along some extras to games night. But the club also has several starter sets.
